Jake – Loan Officer Associate

I work as an LOA at Extreme Loans, and I’m working toward becoming a loan officer after starting my mortgage career with NEXA. One of the main reasons I enjoy Extreme Loans is the energetic, fast-paced environment it really keeps me motivated and on my toes. I also really love working with people, being part of a team, and helping others solve problems and move forward. It’s the kind of setting where I feel like I can grow, stay challenged, and keep improving, which is exactly what I’m looking for right now in my career. I honestly think that’s why I’d be a great fit here long-term.

Right now, I’m also in that stage of life where I’m building everything for myself living on my own, learning independence, and figuring things out as I go. It’s been a big adjustment, but it’s made me more responsible and driven. Family is still a big part of my life, and staying close to the people I care about keeps me grounded.

Outside of work, I’m a big gamer and used to build custom computers before getting into mortgages. I’m also a member of the Detroit Alley Cats and have a homemade cat sanctuary with my two cats, Aria and Sansa, who definitely run the house. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy taking care of them.

One of my biggest accomplishments so far has been losing over 60 pounds through consistency and discipline. It’s really changed my mindset and confidence. I’ve also been getting into stand-up comedy lately, which fits my naturally outgoing personality. I was actually the mascot at both of my high schools after moving schools, so being energetic and making people laugh has always come pretty naturally to me.

I was born on June 20, 2002, and while I’m still early in my journey, I’m focused on growth, consistency, and building a future I can be proud of.
