Kathryn – Loan Officer Associate
Hi! I’m Kathryn! I’m originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, where I grew up in the small town of Danville. Growing up in a close-knit community gave me a strong sense of connection, belonging, and appreciation for family. After high school, I made the exciting decision to attend San Diego State University. Embracing the change from Northern California to Southern California allowed me to expand my horizons and meet people from diverse backgrounds. During my time at SDSU, I earned a Bachelor or Arts in Communications with a minor in Psychology. My studies helped me develop a strong understanding of human behavior, effective communication, and the importance of connection in both personal and professional settings.
After graduating, I moved back to Northern California and settled in San Francisco. I began my professional career as an intake coordinator for a non-profit counseling center, where I gained invaluable experience supporting individuals during vulnerable moments in their lives. I later transitioned to the restaurant industry, where my passion working directly with people continued to grow. Building relationships and creating positive experiences became a consistent theme throughout my career. With family roots in the Midwest, I eventually relocated to Michigan, where I began a career in sales within the mattress industry. I was drawn to the meaningful impact of helping people find relief from pain and improve their quality of sleep. Working for Sleep Number, I focused on building lasting, lifelong connections with my clients while providing personalized solutions to meet their needs. Across my journey, my commitment to connection, empathy, and service has remained at the core of who I am. For me, sales has never just been about products-it’s about trust, connection, and making a meaningful impact.
I’ve transitioned into the mortgage industry as a loan officer, where I’m excited to guide individuals and families through one of the most important financial decisions of their lives. My approach is rooted in communication, education, and personalized support. No matter the industry, my mission remains the same: to build trust, create meaningful connections, and help people move confidently towards their goals. Outside of work, you can find me listening to music, spending time with family and friends, or most likely my cat Cannoli. I’m also a die-hard San Franciso 49ers fan-and I’ll never give up hope that this year is the year!
